During the opening of the conference Minister of economic development and tourism Mr. Stanley Palm emphasized on the importance of the tourism sector for the island, and the incrrease in airlift from the US and Canada. Further more the students where highly motivated and impressed with the motivational speech of the key note speaker Dr.
Patricia Russell Mc Cloud, who is an international recognized motivational speaker. Dr. Russell emphasized on different aspects and she focused on perseverance and to never give up, no matter the situation you are in. She used the quote:'Monday is coming, the future is yesterday, and we are already late'
