As part of the elective course "Strategic Tourism Development" the second and third year students of the Bachelor International Hospitality & Tourism Management students went on site visit at the Jet-Centre. The students could experience Jet-Centre from the inside and experience what a VIP would experience at this exclusive new terminal at the Curacao Airport. They got an elaborate tour and explanation about Jet-Centre from the Operations supervisor, miss Sharitee Saunders. Nice detail is that Sharitee Saunders successfully defended her thesis last December and will be officially graduating from the same Bachelor program at ICUC coming June. Of course experiencing a young graduate in her daily job was also motivating for the students who still had some year ahead of them before graduation. Furthermore Dr. Daal from CTB had a lecture in which he elaborated on the vision of CTB regarding strategic tourism development last Monday. The students will also get a lecture about the cruise tourism development from CPA and CHATA will also provide a guest lecture about the tourism master plan and their vision on strategic tourism development.
