Outcomes Assessment

ACBSP understands the importance placed on outcomes assessment from external stakeholders which is why student learning outcomes assessment is a threshold standard for ACBSP accreditation. ACBSP is recognized as a leader in the area of assessing student-learning outcomes.

For ICUC it is important to inform on our graduation rate and the retention rate. This will give an idea how successful the students are in reaching their goal.

Accounting Programs

For the Accounting programs the Bachelor in Accounting and the Master in Accounting program have been accredited. The graduation rate for the Bachelor program is between 5% and 10%. These are the students finishing their study nominally (5 years or less). If you take the students finishing in 6 years this grade will increase with approximately 10-15%. The retention rate is around 75% per year

The graduation rate for the Master program is between 25% and 30%. These students graduate within 2 years of the program. the retention rate is over 85%.

Business Administration Programs

For the Business Administration programs the Bachelor in Business Administration and the Master in Business Administration program have been accredited. The graduation rate for the BBA programs is between 29% and 39%. These are the students finishing their study nominally (4 years or less). If you take the students finishing in 5 years this grade will increase with approximately 10-15%.

The rates for the MBA group is higher than the rates for the BBA. The rate for the MBA group is approximately 65% nominally. With the exception of the graduation rate in 2021. The reason for this is the pandemic situation in that period. Students were more inclined to stop for a year with their study, mainly caused by the lack of financial resources to continue. If you take a longer period than the nominal period, the increase will be approximately 10-15%. We continue to give special attention to the thesis writing process, ensuring that the student can write the thesis in a short period. The special guidance will help the student to structure the research and writing process, and will have a good starting point to execute practical and theoretical in their own organization.
