The elective course is one of the 5 elective courses that the students will follow. The topic of this elective is Sustainable Tourism Development. The sustainable tourism development has recently gained popularity around the world and is very important for the sustainable development of Tourism on Curacao and in the entire Caribbean Region. Main topics will be the relevance of the implementation of sustainable development and its Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental benefits. Also there will be extra attention for sustain able development in the Hospitality sector. The course will be lectured by Dr. Dino Daal, who has a long background in the tourism sector at CTB and has been lecturing at ICUC for the last 15 years.
